Visual playbooks
Build a setup library with private chart screenshots, numbered entry/exit markers, repeatable rules and actual strategy results.

How to use it
- 1
Choose or create a playbook
Open Strategies → Visual playbooks. Select an existing strategy, or click New Strategy to create a named setup with a description.
- 2
Define repeatable rules
Use Edit rules to open Strategy rules. Add entry, exit, risk management, psychology and general criteria. Return to Visual playbooks to review them alongside your results.
- 3
Add a chart example
In Add example or review, enter a title and lesson. Choose Setup example, Saved trade review or Missed opportunity. Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP screenshot up to 5 MB; an image is optional. Saved trade reviews require a linked trade. Click Add to library.
- 4
Annotate the image
Click Annotate chart, choose Entry, Exit, Stop, Target or Note, and add optional text. Click the image to place numbered markers, then Save markers. Remove a marker while editing if you need to move it.
- 5
Connect actual performance
Link a saved trade for review. If it belongs to this setup, click Assign selected trade to this playbook. Assignment changes its strategy classification; simply linking an example does not. Charts update from the strategy’s actual saved results.
Understanding the data
- Screenshots are private and served through authenticated requests. They can also be shared with an accepted mentor when you explicitly select the complete playbook in Private workspace. Annotation markers are notes on your uploaded image, not reconstructed broker executions.
- Performance uses all saved usable closed results linked by strategy ID, or matching the exact recorded strategy name when no ID is present. Missing P&L, closing dates or required FX can exclude a record from performance.
- Setup examples and missed opportunities never create fictional trades or add profits to statistics. A linked review references an existing owned trade.
- The charts include cumulative and daily P&L, win/loss mix, instrument results, payoff and instrument mix. R charts require original risk recorded on those trades.
- Assigning a trade replaces its previous strategy classification. It does not change its prices, size or P&L. The playbook selector and Refresh button let you review another setup or reload its evidence.
Common questions
Why does my imported history not appear in this playbook?
Imported trades may have no strategy classification. Select the relevant saved trade in the example form and explicitly assign it to the playbook. Classification should reflect the setup you actually traded.
Can I review a missed opportunity?
Yes. Select Missed opportunity and add notes or a screenshot. It stays separate from executed-trade statistics.
Why are there no strategy charts yet?
The selected playbook needs usable closed trades assigned to it or matching its recorded name. An example screenshot alone does not produce performance data.
