How to use it
- 1
Open the overview
Go to Dashboard and select Overview. Find Customize beside Your trading overview and the layout selector.
- 2
Choose your widgets
Click Customize. Toggle performance summary, cumulative P&L, outcome mix, instrument results, average win/loss, daily P&L, instrument mix, Cybill Score, risk performance, at-a-glance insights and recent activity. Keep at least one widget.
- 3
Arrange the view
Use the up/down arrows to move widgets earlier or later. Choose Full, Half or Third width. Smaller screens adapt the layout; a partially filled row expands its last widget.
- 4
Save your layout
Rename the layout and click Save layout. Preview changes appear immediately, but saving is what keeps them on your account across devices.
- 5
Build alternate views
Duplicate layout to create another view, then customize and save it. Keep up to five named layouts and choose one from the selector. Restore default widgets resets the current view; Save layout makes that reset persistent.
Understanding the data
- Layouts belong to your authenticated account and are saved on the server. They do not change another user’s dashboard.
- Changing a layout affects presentation, not trade records or calculations. The selected dashboard period still controls performance widgets; at-a-glance insights use saved history and current journal positions.
- An empty widget reports no usable results rather than displaying sample performance. Risk coverage shows which closed results have a matching initial risk budget.
- If saved layouts cannot load, the default view remains available. Reload layout before saving; the app avoids replacing an unavailable saved layout with a default.
- If another window updates your saved layout first, reload the latest version before saving. Delete layout removes that view when you save; at least one layout remains.
Common questions
Do layouts follow me to another device?
Yes, after you click Save layout and sign in to the same account. Unsaved previews do not persist.
Can different layouts show different trades?
Layouts currently save widget selection, order and widths. They do not save separate trade filters or dashboard periods. Select your period using the existing dashboard controls.
Where is the Risk performance widget?
Open Customize and enable Risk performance. Record original risk on saved trades to populate R statistics.
